As a professional supporting women in Christchurch, you can help connect them to services that boost their employment opportunities. Referrals are easy, confidential, and effective.
Our services are free for all women, and if you’re referring a Work and Income client, please check if their Case Manager can assist with a Transition to Work Grant (TTW) to help cover the cost of professional clothing.
We also welcome donations from organisations to support our work empowering women in the community.

HOW TO MAKE A CLIENT APPOINTMENT
To refer a client for one of our programmes, get in touch or fill in our online booking form via the link below.
What Your Clients Will Receive
EVERY REFERRED CLIENT WILL GET:
Complimentary one-on-one styling session
Workplace-appropriate clothing and accessories
Career coaching (including CV and interview support)
Invites to participate in our ongoing community programmes
Mentoring and additional support
Throughout the process, we treat every woman with dignity and respect, recognising that she may be navigating a vulnerable time in her life.
OUR PROCESS
Step 1
Identify a woman who would benefit from professional styling and career support that we offer here at Dress for Success Christchurch.
Step 2
Get in contact with us or fill in a booking form to refer a woman for employment. We will contact you within 48 hours to arrange their appointment with us.
Step 3
After their session, feedback is shared and any further support needs are identified. Throughout the process, client confidentiality is carefully protected while ensuring coordinated and continuous support.

What if my client can’t afford anything?
Our services are completely free to clients to remove financial barriers.
Does my client need to be work ready now?
We support women at various stages - from active job seeking to preparing for future opportunities.
Is this a confidential process?
All client information is strictly confidential. We only share progress updates with explicit client consent.

AROHA PACKAGES & ADDITIONAL SUPPORT
Aroha Support Packages
EMERGENCY CLOTHING PACKAGES (FOR REFERRALS ONLY)
If your client needs clothing quickly due to an extreme situation we are able to put a package together for you to pick up. This is a contactless service, the package is left in a secure place for you to pick up.
You can order a Aroha clothing package for your client (form attached) by completing the form with as much detail as possible, and return to: admin@dressforsuccesschristchurch.org.nz
