Donate Clothes
Dress for Success Christchurch always welcomes quality clothing, shoes, accessories, and jewellery. Please ensure items are clean, pressed, no more than 5 years old, and suitable for job interviews.
Donation Drives
Organise a Clothing Drive with friends, colleagues, or your community to support Dress for Success Christchurch. Donate new or gently-used, work-appropriate clothing, shoes, accessories, and unused cosmetics or toiletries. Even a few items can help transform a woman’s confidence and future. Please contact us if you are planning a donation drive, we can let you know what items would be most useful for Dress for Success.

What clothing is accepted?
Good quality new or pre loved clothing items and accessories are accepted.
What clothing is not accepted?
Clothing in bad condition or low quality items won't be given to clients.
Where can I drop off clothes?
You can drop off clothes at our donation locations listed below!
Can I donate accessories?
Yes! We take accessories such as handbags, shoes, etc. Contact us for more info.
Can I donate things other than clothes?
Yes, you can support us through volunteering or donating funds to support Dress for Success. Contact us for more information.

"I was the grateful recipient of an interview outfit after a dressing appointment this morning (at 10am on the 2nd of April). I arrived slightly late, very flustered and embarrassed, after getting myself lost on the way to you. I hate to be late and was very conscious that it didn't make a great first impression, but your volunteers were so kind and gracious as I pulled myself together. I usually hate shopping and trying on clothes, and was very self-conscious about being dressed, but the stylists were so kind and dedicated to finding me an appropriate outfit. They pulled together some amazing clothes that are perfect for me, with coordinated colours and a flattering fit. My next step is to get a haircut with the discount voucher provided and then I feel that I will be ready for anything, stepping out in my new boots with confidence! Thank you again for your time and generosity, it is very much appreciated."

She’s been going through a really rough time and has been working hard on getting her feet back under her, constantly job hunting, interviewing and carrying the weight of financial insecurity. It was so beautiful to see her absolutely beaming and hear how your staff took care of her. She felt so special and spoilt and was overwhelmed with the generosity. She’s actually just accepted a job offer and was so relieved she won’t need to worry about buying work clothes because she just wouldn’t have had the capacity to do so right now.
